An introductory course: storyboard, film, take photographs & edit your work.

This course is perfect for beginners providing an opportunity to experience the three key stages of film making: pre-production, filming and editing. Students are able to produce content from a choice of different topics including fiction and documentaries.

Students will also learn photography skills and techniques, and how to select the right equipment alongside basic editing skills. Beginners will learn the basic fundamentals of photography including composition and framing a shot. Those with some experience in photography will look at 'The Exposure Triangle' - shutter speed, aperture and ISO, and creating different effects through depth of field including Miniature Photography and Miniature Faking (also known as diorama effect or diorama illusion).The best photographs will be exhibited on the 'Student Zone' section of The Zone, a website displaying all the photos and videos from the courses – millfieldthezone.com
