Each week students will create their own personalised timetable by selecting options that interest them from both the English Focused Sessions and Activity Focused Sessions at the weekly Marketplace.
A Tutor Group session will take place before the Marketplace where their teacher will discuss the various options available for that week, guiding students in their choices to ensure they are selecting sessions to match their ability.
On Saturdays a reflective session will take place with the Tutor Group for students to review their choices from the week with their teacher, helping students to make an informed decision about their sessions for the next week.

Here is an example of three different students' interests. You can see their chosen timetables below providing an example of how individual learning paths can be created based on a student's interests.
“I’m really outgoing and love performing. At Millfield I get all the practice I need to become a Star!”
“I want to write my own blog so I chose suitable classes, including my passion — photography!”
“I really want to become a writer so I chose journalism, social media and literature for my classes, but I absolutely love classical music and tennis so I created the perfect timetable to match my interests and ambitions. I even got to try learning Spanish!”
