Daily Programme

Bruton Overview

At Bruton students will be able to choose from a variety of sessions in order to tailor their programme to their individual learning needs. The programme is split into two distinct categories: English-Focused Sessions and Activity-Focused Sessions, and weekly choices are selected during the Marketplace on Mondays. At least 15 hours of English-Focused sessions must be completed each week.

On Thursdays students have a full-day excursion and on Saturdays students will take English classes in the mornings (students are allocated to classes based on the results of their placement test) and will then attend a half-day excursion in the afternoon.

Most Sundays are arrival and departure days; students who are not arriving or departing on those days can take part in extra academic clubs or friendly games/activities and occasionally have the option to take part in an extra trip, for example a walk up to the Dovecot or a visit to the Hauser and Wirth Art Gallery.
