b'MorningsMillfields main aim is to provide students with an engaging learning experience suitable to their ability. In the mornings there are three options to choose from, each consisting of 15 hours per week; General English, Cambridge Assessment English (Exam Included or Preparation Only) or Global Young Leaders. For all morning options, all teaching materials are provided and are included in the cost of the course. On successful completion of the course, all students will receive areport and course certificate. The morning options take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and students can further improve their English by choosing the Extra English afternoon option (see page 24 for more information). General English(Weeks 1-6) This option is suitable for all abilities with students participating in English classes with trained teachers. On arrival students take a placement test (spoken and written) to assess their level of English, based on CEFR levels. Students are then placed in multinational classes with those of a similar age and English level. There are 3 hours of lessons in the mornings2 hours with 1 teacher and 1 hour with another, so classes get to experience different teaching styles and accents during their course. Teachers involve students when planning their lessons in order to meet the interests and language learning needs of their class. Each week there is a choice of 3 broad topics enabling teachers to plan an interesting and communicative lesson programme following ideas from one or more of the topics. All lessons include communicative activities and functional language which can be used in real-life situations. 20'
